많은 사람들이 바쁜 일과에 쫓겨
주님과 홀로 고요히 보낼 시간이
없다고 하고, 오히려 기도하는
시간을 가지면 우리가 일할
시간을 잃어버린다고 생각합니다.

그러나 기도는 하루를 어떻게
살아야 할 것인가에 대해 주님께
방향과 지혜를 구하고 주님께서
우리 삶을 주관하시도록
내어 드리는 시간입니다.

그때 주님은 평안과 기쁨으로
채워주시고, 올바른 방향을
알려주시고, 지혜를 허락하시며,
순종할 수 있는 힘을 주셔서, 더
생산적인 하루가 되도록 하십니다.
